Discussion

This was classified as a layer of clay loam (Munsell colour 10YR 3/3), in the western segment of box section 012AA00254. The deposit was almost inclusion free. Its sub-circular shape could indicate that it may have been a pit or a post hole, although the soil type indicates a probable natural origin for this feature. There were no finds.
